In this privacy policy "NCIL" will mean Northern
Computer Innovations Ltd.
At NCIL we know how important
it is to protect your personal information. Whether you are shopping with us in
person or online we want to make every customer experience safe and secure. In
keeping with that goal, we have developed this Privacy Policy to explain our
practices for the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.

Electronic Documents Act. The Act gives you

information does NCIL Collect?
At NCIL, we collect two types of information: personal
information and non-personal information. The types of information we collect
depend on the nature of your interaction with us.

Why does NCIL need personal information?
We collect this personal information to
better serve you and your needs. By
keeping a history of your purchases we can reprint invoices quickly for your
records or warranty issues. You may need
to know what is compatible with your computer*, laptop or printer with the
history we keep we can easily look at your history and tell you what you would
need. Or if you have any other questions about your purchase history we can
better answer your inquiry.

Your Consent
NCIL will not collect, use, or
disclose your personal information without your knowledge and consent, except
where required or permitted by law. When you choose to provide us with your
personal information you consent to the use of your personal information as
identified in this Privacy Policy. Sometimes, your consent may be implied
through your conduct with us.
Data on
Returned Products
When returning products which
may contain stored or recorded personal information, like computers, hard
drives, digital cameras, etc., you are responsible for deleting or removing all
personal information and media from your product before you return it. NCIL is
not responsible for any personal data or media left behind.
Disclosure
of your Personal Information
Under certain circumstances,
NCIL will disclose your personal information:

when we are required or authorized by law to do so, for example
if a court issues a subpoena;

when processing defective returns to the manufacture your
consent will be implied, unless you tell us otherwise;

Your Information
The security of your personal
information is a high priority for NCIL. We maintain appropriate safeguards and
current security standards to protect your personal information, whether recorded
on paper or captured electronically, against unauthorized access, disclosure,
or misuse. Electronic records are stored in secure, limited-access servers and
we ensure our employees are trained on the importance of maintaining the
security and confidentiality of personal information. All employees are required to sign a
confidentiality agreement.
When you create an online
account on our Web Site, you need to select a personal password. To maximize
your level of protection, you should choose at least 6 characters including a
combination of both letters and numbers. You are solely responsible for
maintaining the secrecy of your password and any account information. NCIL
will never send an unsolicited communication asking you for your password or
requesting that you update your account credentials.
Although we cannot take
responsibility for any theft, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, loss, alteration
or destruction of data by a third party, we take reasonable precautions to
prevent such unfortunate occurrences.

to Your Personal Information
You may ask for access to any personal
information we hold about you.
Can I be
Denied Access to My Personal Information?
We may deny access when we are bound by law
not to disclose the information.
Can I request
anonymity?
You may ask for anonymity but all purchases
must be made by cash or debit. We then
cannot fully support you if you require warranty assistance for your product.
Web Site
On our website, like most other commercial
websites, we may monitor traffic patterns, site usage and related site
information in order to optimize our web service. We may provide combined information to third
parties, but these statistics do not include any identifiable personal
information.
Changes
to this Privacy Policy
We may change our privacy policy from time to
time.

Important Reminder about email
communications:
Please remember that email sent over the
public Internet is not secure. If you send an email directly to us from your
own email account the contents will not be encrypted. We strongly recommend
that you do not send sensitive information (like a credit card number) to us
via unencrypted email. NCIL is not responsible for any transmission by you of
any personal information over the public Internet.
